i've just bought a used-computer from my friend last week. a windows XP
professional operating system included and installed already. this computer
only had 1 user account which is an administrator. and when i wanted to
change the administrator name, i also changed this account into "limited
account".
so now my computer doesn't has any administrator account and only has one
account which is limited account. And also i can't install any new program. i
need a solution from you so i can fix this problem.

You should have created an account for yourself with Admin status.
Do you have any restore points to go back to?

I just realised that you this account is probably a second Admin account and
all it needed was to be changed back to Admin status and/or renamed.
Try booting into safe mode (tapping F8 while booting up) and check what
accounts are shown there.
I say this because I don't think it's possible to change the only true Admin
account to anything else.
I quote:
The computer administrator account is intended for someone who can make
systemwide changes to the computer, install programs, and access all files
on the computer. Only a user with computer administrator account has full
access to other user accounts on the computer. This user:

. Can create and delete user accounts on the computer.

. Can create account passwords for other user accounts on the
computer.

. Can change other people's account names, pictures, passwords, and
account types.

. Cannot change his or her own account type to a limited account type
unless there is at least one other user with a computer administrator
account type on the computer. This ensures that there is always at least one
user with a computer administrator account on the computer.

The last section indicates that there must be another Admin account.

That doesn't make sense becouse apparently there has to be an Admin user. If
you attempt to set all accounts to limited, XP won't let you. There must be
an Admin account somewhere, even if its in Safe Mode (follow Peter's
instructions).
