Limited Accounts

Within Windows XP Professional, I have two user accounts and an Administrator
account. I have changed one of the user accounts from an System Administrator
account to a Limited account. I wish to do the same to the other account, so
I log on to the Administrator account and try change the account type of the
last remaining System Administrator Account to a Limited Account but am
unable to as apparantley need to have one user account which has System
Administrator privaliges.

Is there an easy way around this limitation? As we dont need a user System
Administrator account as we can just use the current Administrator account.

While it's possible to do what you're proposing, I wouldn't recommend it. Having
the built-in Administrator be the only admin level account on your computer
isn't a good idea. What would you do if the Administrator account was corrupted?
The Administrator account should be reserved for emergency use only.

A better approach would be to create another admin account, log on with this new
account, and demote the second user account to limited status. That will leave
you with two limited accounts for regular use, an admin level account for those
times when you need to perform administrative chores, and the Administrator
account in case all user created accounts are inaccessible.

Good luck
