Limit to Text in Excel Cell

Is there a limit to the amount of text you can have in a cell? After about
20 lines the word wrap stops wrapping text. Is this adjustable?

From Excel's Help (search 'specifications')
Length of cell contents (text)
32,767 characters. Only 1,024 display in a cell; all 32,767 display in the
formula bar.

Sounds like you should be using a text box

If you add alt-enters (to force new lines within the cell) every 80-100
characters, you can see lots more than the documented number of characters.

I guess the displaying 1024 characters is my problem. Surprised it is so
small.

Thanks for the help.

I have the same question.

Sure, there are workarounds, but does anyone know the answer to the original
question?
