Word Wrap in Cell Stops???

Hi All,

I have a spreadsheet where the cell is configured to word wrap. Admittedly
the cell contains a lot of text, but after working ok for a bit the word
wrap suddenly stops and the remaining text disappears to the right. The text
is there because it can be seen in the edit bar at the top.

Any ideas how I can get the cell to format properly though please?

Try adding alt-enters (to force newlines within the cell) every 80-100
characters.

Hi,

In Excel 2003 or earlier, Excel will display only about 1024 characters in a
cell even though you can enter about 32K. To get around that limitation use
dave's suggestion.

And if you use those alt-enters, you can way more than that documented 1000
characters.
