Limit on Rules?

M

Mark

I have 5 rules, all very simple, they just send emails
from certain people into certain folders.

When I attempt to create another rule doing the same
things but with another email address, I get the
following error:

ONE OR MORE RULES COULD NOT BE UPLOADED TO EXCHANGE
SERVER AND HAVE BEEN DEACTIVATED. THIS COULD BE BECAUSE
SOME OF THE PARAMETERS ARE NOT SUPPORTED OR THERE IS
INSUFFICIENT SPACE TO STORE ALL OF YOUR RULES.

<<<

I saw somewhere on the net that there was a 32K size
limit on the rules. Is this true? Even if it is, there is
no way the current rules are taking up 32K given their
extreme simplicity.

Any help appreciated.

This is true. The size of a rule also depends on how many contacts and
conditions you have configured for a rule.

OK, thanks for the confirmation, but can anybody tell me
why I can only have 5 rules. Each rule just contains one
email address and one folder to direct it to.

Do you also have automatic formatting rules enabled?
