When I tried to install another TS license server as a backup, one of the
screen prompted to select for Enterprise or Domain. Is this details contained
in the primary TS license server?

You can check the following registry key on your primary TS LS to see
which mode it is in (do not modify the key!):

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services
\TermServLicensing\Parameters

The Role value has either a '0' (Domain/Workgroup License
Server) or a '1' (Enterprise License Server).

Out of Curiosity , Would it cause problems if the backup LS had different
parameter than the primary in regards to Enterprise / Domain setting?

Other than that, thanks for your feedback.

Not if your AD contains a single domain and a single site.
If you have multiple domains and/or multiple sites, then there is a
difference in automatic LS discovery.

An enterprise licensing server is automatically discovered by any
terminal server within the same site as the license server. A
domain licensing server is automatically discovered by any terminal
server that is a member of the same domain as the license server.
