Lexmark x63 and HP 7760 wont work together

I just purchased a Dell Dimension 2400 running Windows XP and it will not run the Lexmark x63 and HP Photosmart 7760 printers I own. Deinstalling one printer allows the other to work fine. But when both are installed, the Lexmark returns a "Printer Busy" response and will not print! Similar problems with the x63 seem to be described in this site, but none of the solutions are easy enough for me to handle. Please help!

How are you hooking them up to the computer?

USB? or LTP?
