Lexmark 75 can't clear Queue

Been having trouble with the printer/scanner. It just
quits printing and gives me a message that the connection
cable is missing. Cable is fine and I have removed the
printer and then re-installed and it works. Trouble is I
can't remove the program while there is a print job in
the queue. When I ask to cancel the print job it will
not do it? Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks.
 
Try typing

net stop spooler

at the command prompt, and then deleting the print job.

Remember to restart the print spooler by typing

net start spooler

at the command prompt when you're ready.
