Letterhead style stationary - lost images - what's the point then?

OK I have read about 20 of the previous posts: As far as I can tell the
question remains: How to work with (develop/design, save implement and roll
out) a logo based stationary....

I am working to create a logo branded letterhead style stationary for use
througout our company to promote our image. I understand the comment that
"text only" looks professional - and I would file that under "applicable to
IT people" - but regarding the routine communication to clients when you are
trying to generate a corp image - I beleive it can be better.

If I work from Word and use "send to" - looks fine, Expecting the whole
company to create all e-mail from scratch starting in Word - with File - New
- E-mail Template is not realistic therfore won't happen.

If you take the Word doc and save this design as a webpage(supposedly HTML)
- the image(s) are saved seperatly. If you use the stationary picker to
select this HTML file (mine will only select HTML files)- the logo image is
not linked back in and you get a very nice square "no image" block. -

You can re-insert the image here - but you can not then re-save the
stationary.

I sent it to myself and tried to "Save Stationary" - seems to work - but
you can not edit it - so roll out to everyone is not practical.

If I take the e-mail I sent to myself - and use forward function, then while
editing - the "Save Stationary" option goes away (why? what the ^&^% is
different between an e-mail you receive (viewing) and then forward
(editing)?).

Basically - I am in the forbidden carrot mode - I can make the e-mail I want
from Word - but I can not use it in a practical manner. How many hours can I
spend on somthing that seems like it should take 15 minutes? (Ahh venting)

I am having the same problem. I am a sales rep with OLH and I can't send any
of my branded e-mails thru Outlook 2007, it has actually disabled my product
automatically. I had to order 2003 Outlook from E-Bay, BIG PAIN. I am
certainly not going to purchase this!!!!!
