Legal Paper

I'm doing a report that is quite lengthy. I've tried to change the paper
size to legal to fit everything on one report and it keeps defaulting back to
letter. Why is it doing this?

You have posted this question to the wrong newsgroup.
The access in this groups title refers to Microsoft Access, a database
program.
Please repost to the correct newsgroup for the Word program you are
using. I would suggest you include your Windows and Office version
number in your message. It might make a difference.

If this is an Access report, open the report in design view. Select File...
Page Setup, and choose the paper size. Then save the Report (before going into
preview or trying to run it!). It should remember the chosen paper size at
this point.

You might want to post the question in the Access Reports group if this
doesn't work for you - post your Access version and the specific steps that
you took if you do so.

I'm in Access 2007. I did as you suggested and it's still not working. I
went to page set up, selected legal size, saved it. I also went to page size
and selected legal and it defaulted back to letter also. Can you think of
what else it could be?

Sorry, I can't! I don't have 2007 installed yet and probably am not the best
person to ask. I'd suggest reposting in the Reports group to see if one of the
regulars there can help!
