left click problem

microsoft

Hello everyone,

When ever I double click on a folder it opens a search window rather than
opening the folder, I have no idea why its started doing this and on closer
inspection of the right click of a folder it seems to me that the Search
option has been set to defualt.

Can someone help me out with this. Its really is driving me nuts. Yes what i
observe is that on the left hand pane (hierical view of folder) in windows
explorer left click correctly opens the folder and show the content but on
the right pane if you left click on the folder it will open search instead
of showing the contents of folder

I will appreciate any help in this regards,
Bilal

Go to Kelly's site:

and scroll down to line 18, right column 'Search opens when
double-clicking a folder.'

Good luck
