left and right mouse buttons have changed assignment

Can any one help me please, My right mouse button when i click on a folder
instead of opening on the top tof the task bar it shows Search. the next
problem is the left button, into explore eg: C drive, click on a folder on
the left side, this displays folders on the right side of screen, now a
couple of day ago, no problems, but now i double click to open a folder or
anything else and the Search file and folder box comes up instead.
Please help i am going mad to resolve this, it's probably only a minor task
to change but if you dont know it can be major.

Control Panel, Mouse will have a setting to switch the buttons around.

Go to Control Panel and go to mouse remove the check mark at the top.
