LBA Issue

I want to install a Seagate 200 Gbyte Hard Drive.

Will checking the setup or looking at the
screen display on boot-up advise if my
BIOS has LBA support ?

I am running Windows XP - Service Pack2.

LBA has been around for years, shuld not be an issue.

What is of more significance is the drive capacity.

CHeck with you user guide if 200Gb is acceptable for your Mobo/BIOS.
 
I had to send an email to the support group of my motherboard to find out.
