Hi Guys and Gals
When we run the Ad-Ware program it comes up with the (MRU List) items. I
think that stands for most recently used documents, am i right ?
How many files will windows store if i don't take them off, is it just like
a dozen or so then it delets the oldest ones?
Or do they just keep pileing up? Is it a good idea to let ad-ware delete
them or leave them alone.

These are just a privacy issue, really. Most of the MRU lists are
configurable in the programs that use them. For instance, you can
customize the Start Menu of Windows XP (click on Start, then right click
to choose Properties, then Customize->Advanced tab) to keep a recent
document list and to clear it when you wish. No need to use Ad-Aware to
do that, unless you want to. However, it is an easy way to empty out the
list. It does nothing to the original files, so it's perfectly fine to
do so.

IMO you may safely configure Ad-aware to ignore MRU.

Ad Aware considers all the temp docs created by IE6 ect MRU's and removes
them as well. Cookies, Temp internet files, Password lists, Auto Complete
forms.

It removes these as it see's them as security issues. I agree, autocomplete
for password forms and other things or CC# auto complete forms on websites
can be an issue especcially if you had spyware that was sending info out from
your computer.

I recomend you remove these files if your worried about losing access to
account info's for internet websites or CC#'s and such things. Though it is
correct that they may in fact not be an issue.

Im just paranoid so i always remove them.

Thanks for the prompt comeback.
How many MRU files will windows save before it dumps them?
I don't have the option checked to show MRU documents but they still show up
in Ad-Ware.
