Latest Update Slows/Freezes MS Outlook

Just installed the update after receiving a message to
say it was available - as soon as it was installed
Outlook became unuseable as it slowed to a snails
pace/kept freezing.

Several restarts, stopping MS Antispyware to no avail
unitl I did a sustem restore and hey presto Outlook works
fine again!

Using Windows XP SP2

Are you using Outlook in Corporate or Internet only mode? Which version? I
am using 2003 in Corporate mode and have no problem. How about antivirus or
any Outlook plugins?

You did not need to use System Restore. The Update is listed under
Microsoft AntiSpyware in Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel and
can be uninstalled from there if there are any issues.

I'm using internet mode with no Antivirus and no plugins
(it's a work machines so our server screens for viruses)
