Latest Service Pack / Palm synchronization

I am currently having problems sychronizing my Palm
Tungsten T handheld. I have had successful "HotSync"s
for the past several months, but recently it has been
getting hung up at "memo pad" and more recently "to do
list." I have gone through several iterations of
troubleshooting with the Palm support people, no luck.

Here's the Microsoft part: My latest conversation with
Palm support insisted it was Microsoft XP. I was told
that I needed to get the latest Microsoft XP, Service
Pack update. I told the rep that I had just updated with
Service Pack 1A, and I was told that I needed...

Service Pack 3 or 4 ????

Does this product exist? If so, is this something that I
can update for free online or do I need to purchase this
update?

Ultimately, does anyone actually think that this could be
the source of my problem??

Windows XP sp2 is currently in beta testing and may not be officially out
for another month or two. Obviously there is no sp3 or 4 yet.

Hi

For Windows XP, no (SP2 is in beta now). I would think that the person
at Palm support mixed up Windows XP and Windows 2000, where SP3 and SP4
is available.
