Latency issue

NB

We run a program off our W2k server that exhibits
SIGNIFICANT slowdown on an XPpro machine vs the W98
machines. XPpro machine is 2.2P4, 98 machine is 1.4P3.
Any thoughts on why this is occurring?
 
Win98 does not have all the Services running in the background like WinXP.
Go to Control Panel>Admin Tools>Services
and see what is running. www.blackviper.com has alot of Info on Services
both unnecessary and necessary.
