last good known configuration

Is there anyway to delete one and renew it? I had to use it today and it
was worst than the problem, I had to use system restore.

The configuration info should be overwritten when you do a normal reboot or
shutdown.

That's what I thought but it's the same configuration that I had like 2
weeks ago. There isn't a way to delete it and when you reboot it comes
back? Just spinning my wheels here, a little confused, never had that
problem with the last known good configuration before, it always worked like
a charm.

The "Last Known Good Configuration" (LKGC) does not stay the "same". It is
the last successful boot - emphasis on boot!

Meaning if the computer boots OK but has a problem - the LKGC will not help
since it will still contain the problem.

If your computer booted OK (No problems) when last used but does not do so
now - then LKGC may be of value.

The problem is the graphics drivers and anything related to that is like
missing, not installed right on that last known good configuration. I since
then have updated my drivers and that LKGC still comes up with the old stuff
on that.
