Last Freeware version of Net Transport?

On my system, when I click on the shortcut,it looks like its going to
start, hd is accessed and then everything settles down. Nothing happens. A
second click elicits even briefer response and again the program does not
start.

I downloaded the program again and reinstalled it. Still the same. However
the latest version starts right away and opens up a window, ready to go to
work.

I am running WIN98SE on a 350Mhz AMD k-6 with 64 MB RAM, no multitasking

The version listed starts minimized. Are you sure you don't see that icon in
the tray?

How 'bout SDP? I've found that it always makes saved streams seekable
whereas Net Transport doesn't sometimes.
