REQ: Webcam tool

scootgirl.com

Hi, I'm looking for a freeware webcam tool that will snap a shot every x
seconds/minutes and save to an UNC path for WindowsXP.

The Webcam powertoy does not see my IBM PC cam unfortunately as that was
just what I needed. Webcam2000 "works" with a wget work around then *poof*
spits out errors.

Fwink, also doesn't see my capture device, but webcam32, webcamXP etc. does.

I'd really like something that isn't adware (displays a banner on the pic)
too.

Thanks.

SimpleCam

Overview:

SimpleCam is an easy to use webcam software product. It is designed for
people who want to stream live video from their computers without
paying a fortune or signing up for a service. If you own a USB camera
or similar, you may have noticed that webcam software that allows live
streaming directly from your computer is hard to find. It is also very
difficult to setup commercial software because many of the features
aren't useful to the average user or are very confusing. These days,
almost everyone has a cable modem or DSL, which allows anyone to stream
real live video. Features: LIVE video streaming, not pictures that
update every few seconds. * Uses almost any video input device, from
digital cameras to TV cards. * Does NOT force you to sign up with a
website. * Setup wizard to get streaming quickly. * Built in HTTP
server.
