I have a HP Laserjet IIIP and have just upgraded to
Windows XP. I added this printer and selected the
correct driver. When I try to print I get an error
saying the printer is out of paper. However the printer
is not out of paper???

This printer does not support pjlmon. Where are you seeing the out of
paper error? If you are using the Windows 98 drivers (or the previous
operation system if the upgrade was not Windows 2000) these drivers will not
work.

Hi Alan, the error is a pop up message coming from the
printer icon (bottom right corner of the screen). It
pops up about 30 seconds after I try to print. I loaded
the driver using the "add a printer" choice in the
control panel after I installed the XP upgrade. I
selected Laserjet IIIP from the choices and the driver
was retrieved (I'm not sure from where).

Also, I have gotten the printer to print by reloading the
driver. It will print a few times and then I will get
the out of paper message again???

Any suggestions

Thanks for you help!
