LaserJet 5 manual feed not recognized

We have an HP LaserJet 5. Our Windows XP pcs will not
recognize the manual feed tray. Everything we designate
to print from the manual tray pulls from Tray 1. PCs with
Windows 98 pull correctly. Can anyone help?
 
Thanks Sue. I tried it but it doesn't work. It's
designating tray 1 as the manual feed location but there
is an actual manual feed tray that it's not recognizing.
