LaserJet 1022 and Vista

I need to print to a LaserJet 1022 from my Vista Business machine across a
network. The 1022 printer is physically attached and shared on a Windows
2000 system. HP has not gotten around to writing drivers for the 1022 much
to my dismay.

So, while I can print to an old LaserJet 1100, I can't print my a nearly new
1022 because there are no drivers!

I can prolly use something like a Laserjet 4 driver but that sucks. Anyone
else having a similar issue and found a solution?

I have the LaserJet 1022 and have it attached to my XP system. I have a
Vista PC that uses the share and prints OK. What you need to do is download
the latest XP drivers off of HP's site, install them on Vista and then you
should be able to set up the printing to share with your XP machine.
