Better to ask them here.

For the network issue, it's difficult to say without some details of the
network topology and any error message you receive.

Can you not answer the question? I have posted this in windows system files,
msn discussion and many more but to no avail.

This is the wrong group for the first issue. One of the msn.* groups would
be your best bet. For the network issue, it's difficult to say without some
details of the network topology and any error message you receive.

USING MOZILLA FIREFOX AND WHEN I PLUG INTO MY PHONE CONNECTION AND SHOW THAT
I AM ONLINE MOZILLA DOES NOT SEEM TO REGOGNIZE THIS FACT. SURELY THERE MUST
BE A SIMPLE ANSWER TO THE QUESTION OF WHY MOZILLA DOES NOT SEEM TO RECOGNIZE
THAT I AM ONLINE. IT JUST SAYS THAT GOOGLE NOT AVAIL

Hi, Catherine.

We all understand your frustration, but rather than YELL AT DAVE, who is
trying to help you, why don't you ask the people who wrote Mozilla - or the
ones who use it?

There are no Mozilla or Firefox groups here in the Microsoft communities or
newsgroups, because those are not Microsoft programs. I don't know if
Netscape or AOL or whoever owns Mozilla these days has any support
newsgroups or other facilities. But, there are over many user-to-user
newsgroups in Usenet, and most ISPs include a news server in their monthly
subscription fee. If your ISP does not provide a news server, there are
thousands of free (and paid) news servers that you can fine by simply
searching for "free news server" in Google or your favorite search engine.

As just one example (of many available), click here:
news://www.mozilla.org/netscape.public.mozilla.browser

Unless blocked by something like a corporate firewall, that one click should
start Outlook Express (since you are running Win2K), create a News Account
for www.mozilla.org (a free news server I found at
http://freenews.maxbaud.net/newssrch.htmlgroup=netscape.public.mozilla.browser&active=1,
subscribe you to the n.p.m.browser newsgroup, and download the 300 latest
headers for you to read.

You say that Mozilla doesn't even know you are online, but evidently
SOMETHING is working for you since you are able to post here, so you should
be able to get to that newsgroup, too.

Sorry I can't help with your real problem, but I don't have a network and
know nothing about them - but Dave does!
