Laptop Speakers

Hi:
I installed software for making desktop recordings (Lexicon Omega) and can
not longer hear audio on my Dell laptop unless I use headphones. I have
been through all of the troubleshooting options - there is no rhyme or
reason for the speakers not to work. All of the settings are in place. Can
you thing of anything else to try?
