Hi all

I am trying to resurrect an old laptop and started the setup process.
Set it away formatting the hard drive and it appears "stuck" on 91%.
Does this mean the HD is bad?
Is there any milage in powering off and re-running the setup/format
operation?

TIA

If you can't even format the drive, some piece of hardware is bad. It
could be the drive, the power supply, the RAM, the motherboard, etc. How
old is "old laptop"? What operating system was originally on it?

Start by testing the hard drive.
