I recently acquired a laptop that had a broken screen. I decided that i was going to make it a halftop (or a laptop without a screen, but wound up becoming a little ambitious. It has since turned into a full-fledged project. I am in the process of acquiring an aluminum briefcase that i will be able to mod so that i can actually mount the board inside of it. cooling should be alright. It's an old lappy, so it doesn't really get all too hot.

See, the problem is that i kinda really want to put a screen back into it, i just have absolutely zero idea how to do so. I still have all of the original parts except for:
-A functional LCD screen(spider crack)
-An inverter(last guy who had it blew it)
-Backlight(somehow broke in half along the way)

How would i go about putting a screen INSIDE of the laptop?

P.S.: I was thinking about mounting a tiny lcd inside and drilling airholes in the top of the case for cooling. I would connect it to the VGA port on the back of the laptop. That wouldn't be a problem.
