Laptop does not reboot

Hi all.

I have a laptop with Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, Version 2002,
Service Pack 2.

When I go to: Start -> Shut Down -> Reboot, nothing happens.
If I click on On/Off button the laptop suspends.

I can't access the Internet from this computer.

Any help is very appreciated.

Thanks for your reply.

Before this problem happened:
- when I clicked the On/Off button, the computer would hibernate
- when Shutting Down the computer, it worked
- I had internet on this computer.
