Laptop can't "Wake up"

I'm using a Win XP with SP2 on my laptop. Recently(sudently),after it
turns to Sleep/Suspend Mode , it'll never "wake up" again. After I
pressed the "Wake" button, regarding of the sounds and reactions of
the machine, it should have been awake, but the screen keeps back so
that I can't do anything.
Why would this happened? Is it because of the problem of my video
card driver? or my MB? But I've updated them all.
Could anybody help? Thx
