Laptop Battery Question

I have an Acer notebook and I upgraded to Vista Home Preimium and it works
great the only problem is now it does not know there is a battery, it has no
monitor to show you that thee is a battery and it does not even know that it
is connected to a battery. I was wondering if anyone can help, thanks.

Having same prob, im using Acer Travelmate 4000 series, acer website doesn't
have any vista driver for this series...

wht to do ???

Check with Acer for system, chipset or power monitor drives for your
notebook.

Unless Acer has drivers, there's nothing that can be done, sorry.

Acerhas some Vista drivers for some Travelmate 4000's. Depends on
which.
