laptop battery problems

can anyone help, i have a latitude d600. the battery ran down then shut down,
can`t get it to work on battery again. what have i done or not done.

plugged the a/c adaptor
into the laptop.

maybe you haven't
called dell for support
on their issues with
defective batteries.

maybe you could have
posted you question on
the dell newsgroup.

Charge the battery on the mains .
