Language+region dependancies of Windows XP license code

I'm planning to buy a computer with pre-loaded Windows XP in Europe. The
problem is that it is a German version installation. Is it possible to change
the installation language to English? Or can I install XP from another
English-installation cd and use the product license from the German version?

I do not believe you can use a CD key from a Germam XP on an English XP.
You may have to buy a completely new XP kit.

No on both counts. You need an English version.
