Trying to upgrade from Win Me to XP Pro. Getting a message saying "The
language of this installation of windows differs from the one you are
installing. The option to upgrade will not be available" Anyone know whats
going on? Thanks

Hi Tony,

It sounds like the language version of your WinXP CD and the WinME system
you are trying to upgrade are different. To upgrade, your Upgrade of Full
version CD must be in the same language as the currently installed system.

Yep, so it would appear. I've run Aida 32 on it and studied it carefully,
and the language versions appear to be identical....

Um, how about the labels on the CD's - do they both indicate the same
language?
