Language Bar

I recently bought a new HP computer with WinXP Media Center Edition on it.
The Language bar is on by default. I can turn it off by right-clicking the
taskbar, choosing toobars, then unchecking the language bar. However, when
I reboot, it comes back. How can I turn it off so that the choice survives
a reboot? Thank you.

I haven't got Media Edition myself, but almost down the bottom of this MS

There's a button there called "Language Bar" visible and I would imagine
they'll be an option to disable it somewhere in there.
