LAN/Wireless Browsing Issue

Hi everyone,

I have a frustrating problem I'm hoping some of you might be able to
help out with: I've been able to connect to my local wireless and LAN
without any problems. My apartment changed the service to add a router
for the wireless and the LAN but it's been working fine. However,
yesterday I was suddenly unable to browse any Internet pages/messaging
services. I'm able to connect to both the wireless and the LAN through
the router, and I've run every kind of repair/system check I know of,
including checking the services.msc, but the computer still behaves as
if it's not connected. I tried disconnecting the router cable and
putting my ethernet directly into the plug, but since the router was
installed the plug no longer recognizes the ethernet cable. My guess
is that this is a firewall issue (although I've tried repeatedly with
the firewall turned off) or there is a misconfig. with the registry or
some other internet setting on my computer. Please let me know if any
of you are able to help! Thanks,

JH Lee

Hi JH Lee,

My apartment or do you mean Department, as in work?

Did you apartment? add Security to the Wireless side of the Router? You
will need to have a Security Key to get back in.
