LAN problem

Ok, I got two computers in my house, and they are
networked together as LAN, and they just stopped working.
I go to the workgroup and I can see myself and the other
computer but cannot go into the other. It says I'm not
authorized, network path not found. The other computer
can only see itself. Earlier today the network was fine.
Basically all I did was activate windows and install the
Service Pack 1 (SP1) Any help appreciated.

.
Go to Network Setup Wizard and do the procedures from the
beginning.

Try deleting the network client for micrsoft networking and then put it
back.Worked for me... If you have ( )'s around one or both of the
cumputer names when you view the workgroup then this will work..You must
do it for all the machines that that have the ()'s around the names.
Then you have to go back and turn sharing on for each device on all
machines.
