LAN PC disconnects on shared internet connection

I have a shared internet connection on a small wired LAN. One PC randomly
drops its internet connection and becomes non-responsive until the user
closes IE on the machine. No other computer on the LAN is affected. The Main
PC is running XP PRO and other machines are running XP Home or WIN 98SE.
Only the XP Home machine suffers this problem. Ad Aware, SpyBot, and McAfee
AV are run on a regular basis. Any thoughts?

In device manager right click your NIC..properties..power management tab and
be sure Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power is not
checked.
