I have a Windows home XP PC. Downloaded windows service
pack 2. Now the LAN connection will not work. Error
says that there is no IP address. Repair wizard will not
work. Any one that walk me through this?

Can you say "system restore"?...it took down my Lan as well which is
my internet connection. Also rendered Norton Antivirus email scanning
inoperable. I couldn't even access Windows tools. Had to go into safe
more and do a restore. Thank goodness that worked.

If you don't know how to system restore, it's
Start-Programs-Accessories-System tools-System Restore. Follow the
online prompts.

Cal,

need more information. What does your LAN consist of. Through
what device do you get the Internet connection?

What are the results when you run ipconfig from a command line
window?
