LAN Manager Authentication Level settings

I was looking in the local security settings on one of my DC's and noticed that the LAN Manager Authentication Level wasn't defined and was wondering if it should be? If not, what is the default level it runs at if I haven't set it explicitly

I'd also like to tighten this setting down a bit and was wondering what you all would suggest I set it to? I'd like to have this option as secure as I can while still allowing my win98 clients to login. Thanks in advance for the help

The local policy can be the same on the DC but it is also set in the Default
Domain Controller Policy which would become the effective setting.

Well it isn't defined in the default dc policy either....If this isn't set either, what is the default level? Also, will changing this setting have any affect on my win98 clients? Thanks again.
