LAN after installing Linksys Router with 4 port switch

I have two Windows XP Computers. After installing the
Linksys Cable/DSL router and configuring it with their
utility I was able to access the Internet from both
computers. Then I ran the 'create a local net' wizzard to
connect the two computers on a local LAN. One of the
computers is fine but doesn't see the other. On the
computer from which I configured the Linksys, I cannot
display the network connections etc... I receive the
following "Ournet not accessable. You might not have
permission to use this network resourse...." In searching
for solutions I found the firewall suggestions. The
firewall is not turned on. Does anyone have a
suggestion?

I had the same problem but when I turned off the
firewall on the host computer it solved the problem. Now
I am trying to find a way to open a port on the firewall
that would allow the network to communicate and the
firewall to restrict the internet. I will be contacting
linksys and will let you know if they come up with a
solution.
