lagging

i am trying to watch a video that i have., but it laggs.
it does not lag all the time (once i turned on my
computer and it wasnt lagging) but most of the time it
does lag. i tried watching other video files even at
better wuality, but only this file lags.

please can you tell me possible problems and how to
overcome them.

my computer is well capable of handling this file.

Interesting, since everything except this video works just fine then the
problem is probably THAT file. Have you tried getting another copy?
Maybe that particular file is extremely fragmented? (defrag harddrive)
Maybe that particular file is not really the same type file as the other
video files.
