Hi,

I need help.

I am running XPSP2 ome on a 1Ghz P3, 512 Mb RAM, Sony Vaio. I am using
Broadband through AOL, and have recently purchased a web cam. When I try to
use it at the same time as my Bband modem, I get told that there is not
enough bandwidth for them both. When I disconnect my modem, my camera works
fine, and vice-versa. I have two usb ports, and my pc is a laptop (forgot
that earlier).

Is there anything I can do to get around this? Or is it just a case of my pc
being to slow?

Thanks
Stan

Some broadband modems can be attached to the PC by either USB or NIC or Both.
If you are lucky you may be able to attach the modem via ethernet cable to
the NIC.

This will give you back the USB bandwidth.

NIC?

The only connection that came with the modem is USB.

I take it that if I dont have NIC, then its just one of those things?? Need
a new pc!!
