Knowledge Base 817589

My ATI TV Tuner freezes on a Hyperthreaded P4 running
WinXP. I expect that the fix suggested on Knowledge Base
817589 will solve it (i.e., the new version of Stream.sys)
, but I don't know how to get it! My Windows XP is an OEM
version from Sony, and they have no clue of how to get me
this fix, and I can't get through to anybody at MS...

Any ideas?!

Click the link in the KB article and either contact MS by phone or email.
Explain to them that you are experiencing the problem described in KB
article 817589 and that you want the file to fix the problem.

There is no charge for fixit files of this type where it is a known bug and
they have a fix available.
