Can you be more clear? Do you mean popup ads that pop up and warn you "your
computer is insecure unless you buy this software!!!" (those are junk) or
the messages that give you info about a potential security problem with a
site? (those messages are sort of important and ignoring them is a great
way to get your computer infected with spyware and viruses)
If you install Service Pack 2 for XP, most of those messages get reduced to
a cute little gold bar at the top of the Window, so they aren't as
intrusive.
