-> User Accounts >
--> "Change an account" >
---> Pick account (admin or guest) >
----> "Change my password"
(be sure to write down PW and make it difficult to find
and/or figure out...not pets name...any name backwards is
neat trick...upper/lower/numeric combo is good)
Exit out.

Yes go into the bios set up and set the passwords in there (1 Admin and 1
User)

make you remember the word if you forget you will need to replace the
motherboard.

Not true.... Pretty much all mobo's have a way to reset the CMOS, clearing
any passwords....
