Kicked off internet xp

Hi can anyone help !!!!
I've recently had problems with my internet connection (it keeps kicking me
off the internet ) so i have to restart my comp and everythings fine.
I had this same problem while running Win98 and after contacting blueyonder
a tech gave me a command that you type into the RUN command box that allows
you just to refresh the ip address. DOES any one know what this command is as
its bugging the life out of me????

hi War. I have a similar problem (or two)!. I keep getting a window headed
'ignore call' the text of which reads 'you have ignored and incoming call.
Click ok' . Whether I click ok or not my PC disconnects within seconds. I
have a phone line dedicated to my pc, so I have no idea what is going on!
Problemo no.2 is the message which says' your application has closed. Do you
wish to disconnect?' What on earth is going on??
