KEYWORDS missing in Windows Explorer window

The keywords I enter for files in Explorer, using right-click > Properties >
Keywords, do not show up in the Keywords column in Explorer. The contents of
all the other columns (Author, Comments, Category, etc.) show up fine, but
not keywords. Have I missed something, or has Microsoft?

Search does find the files containing the text in the Keywords field, but
Explorer still doesn't display it.

Thanks for your help.

To clarify, you have the column heading "keywords" being displayed, but not
the keywords themselves?
If the column heading itself is not displaying, you can configure your
Explorer by right-clicking on the Author header, then selecting 'keywords"
from the list. It is the very last entry, in the "more" section.

Yes, the Keywords column is displayed, but the keyword metadata attached to
each file is not displayed in that column. As I said, the metadata for all
the other columns I have tried do show up.

This is Windows XP Pro, SP2.

Did you every get this to work? I have the same problem. With XPpro SP2 I
can't even see the keywords column option under the more menu. I did see it
in SP1 but it did not show the data entered in the keywords metadata.
