Have you tried cleaning it? Turn it upside down and shake it, etc.
If your friend has a computer, try their keyboard and see if does the same.
You may need a new one, they cost less than $20, so.....cough up!
Is there any response if you just tapped a key and waited 3 seconds? Did it
read the key? Or, do you definately have to hold the key down for 3 seconds?
