Is there a key on the keyboard that has the same effect as the "left" button
on the mouse?? I tried the "enter" key and it doesn't have the same selection
effect.
Thank you...

Use the tab key to go where you want to use the left button and then hit
enter.

I have configured a saitek joystick to move the cursor around while flying in
MS Flight Simulator 2004. When I stop on something to select, the "enter"
key has no effect.. Any suggestions???

Sorry, I don't do joysticks or flight simulators.

Configure one of the buttons for enter.

In many instances the Spacebar will work.

Neither the spacebar nor the fire button will act like the left mouse button.
Any other suggestions???

Agreed, it doesn't always work; it's just another key that will work at
times, within particular forms, and the like.

This could be what you need; I found it with a search and haven't tried
the program myself:

I have found a solution.. When asked to enter a key by the Saitek software, I
depress the left mouse button and it stores it. Thanks for all your help...
