Keyboard strokes mixed up!

I've just had XP Pro (SP3) re-loaded after a hard disk crash and find some
key strokes are mixed up. e.g. the @ and " keys select each other! My
'pound sterling' key gives the #. Fortunately the letters work as you can
see!

What can I do to correct this please?

The layout of your Keyboard is set to USA not UK, try to chnage by doing the
following:

Click Start >> Control panel >> Regional and Langauge Options.
On the R and L Options Under Regional Options make sure the UK is your
Default format.
Then click on Langauges Tab and under default input language:
[ English (United Kingdom_ - UK ][v]

Make sure your Keyboard also United Kingdom or you can Add or remove.
Click [OK]
